In Oracle of Seasons, the Triforce transports Link to a land named Holodrum. There Link witnesses how the evil Onox kidnaps Din, the Oracle of Seasons, and takes her to his castle. This does not bode well for the land of Holodrum. Armed with his sword and shield, Link decides he must find and rescue Din. He sets off on a long journey through dark dungeons full of dangerous enemies and intricate puzzles.
The gameplay of Oracle of Seasons is based on The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. It shares basic controls, sounds and graphics. It is graphics that Oracle of Seasons excells in. As the seasons change, so does the environment. These changes are not just visual. In certain seasons the world map changes, allowing access to otherwise inaccessible areas.
