Worlds of Legend: Son of the Empire is in essence the same as the former game – an isometric 3D RPG. It is now set in an “Eastern” environment but once again you take control of the four characters (Barbarian, Runemaster, Assassin and Troubadour), as you’re required to solve puzzles and conquer dungeons. Again you can encounter hostile armies on the plains as well, but the landscape has changed. Play Worlds of Legend: Son of the Empire online!
A new feature allows you to import your characters from the original game, with all their gold, weapons and level enhancements, although you can generate them from the start again.
The real-time play (where you see other parties marching on the map and the passage of night and day) and good adventure-style puzzles are augmented by better writing, more plot development, more potential party members you can recruit, more monsters and magical artifacts, and even a larger map. It’s essentially the same game as Legend, but with a different plot and more of everything.
