In our collection there is another game dedicated to maze! No frills, a minimum of dirty tricks, simple operation, but along with that you get excellent time killer. In fact, as becomes clear from the "introductory speech" games that Amaze (or A-maze, which is quite logical) is a "trial product", it is a hi powered by Wizard Games and is an example of what at that time she was able to surprise my audience (and it was at this time surprised, apparently, you have to appearance graphics made in ASCII).
But let's get more to the point, finally. Our protagonist – smiley face yellow (with your permission, I will call it a smile) – is the maze, which, of course, you need to go. Don't think you can handle it: even in the beginning you already have two or three areas, and some of them will be true – time will tell and patience. However, not only the ornate corridors of the colors of this maze and at the same time prevents you to enjoy the process: on the way to the cherished goal of our hero to confront the other smileys! They are characterized by red color and clash with them in danger of losing one of several "lives". By the way, and their number can be recovered by collecting discovered in the corridors of the maze yellow hearts (Yes, very symbolic). Actually, to run from enemies and pick up "life" – not the most fun, because the goal we have is quite another to get out of the maze! But let me tell you a secret: our smile may attack enemies – collect at the level of the colored "circles" (how else can you call it?), and you can throw them in the red baddies!
Our yellow hero is able to instantly accelerate; often, this ability helps to avoid damage from enemies (apparently, this difference in speed just confuses them), but sometimes is the cause of the collision with the unpleasant items, which will instantly kill the smile. Be careful!
Amaze cannot be called a masterpiece, and you might not see anything new and exciting, but the idea that "something is", you probably will visit. Amaze is, if I may say so, a riot of colors in a primitive world. This statement applies to not only simple (but very addictive) gameplay, but also the appearance of the game in ASCII blooms in the truest sense of the word! The game has something called the word "soul."
