The action takes place in a fantasy world, somewhat similar to the real beginning of the Late middle Ages. The main character, and people have to play - Alucard, the daughter of a witch. Her mother Margaret, years ago sold his soul to the devil and received in return a powerful magical power was seized by the Inquisition and burned alive at the stake, but her spirit was his daughter and was ordered to do everything to avenge her death.
The exact genre is difficult to determine is the mix of quest, action and and extremely simplified RPG. Management is based on a simple point-and-click interface (buttons located at the bottom of the screen), the basis of the gameplay - progress through the story by solving various puzzles, often associated with finding and using items; depending on the situation, the cursor may change form. Perhaps the main advantage of Plague of the Moon is the graphics, the quality of which for shareware games sometimes naturally surprising; if we remember that the whole game is made by one person, the surprise increases even more.
