Interceptor Software developed a Fighting game in the year 1990 called Joe Blade II. You can play it online now.

Joe Blade II description

1995, which represented him in the mid-80s. Dying is not the fault of the sci-Fi aliens or global cataclysms, but because of the moral savagery of a human civilization. The dusty streets are filled with thugs and all sorts of scoundrels, for whom human life is worth nothing. And only one man can put an end to this violence, only one person can deal with the criminals and save all the hostages - a man, whose name is Joe Blade; the first time out – so get in the second. A logical question: after all, Joe Blade is the hero of an entirely different world where you knew nothing about any MS-DOS, PC and other things, so is it possible?.. Yes. But about all under the order.

The action takes place on the streets of London (to see the sights not even count), every street screen. The task for ten minutes (!) to clear all city streets, to destroy a hundred bandits and save twenty hostages, then crime will end. All opponents are not only well armed, but well protected by armor, so you only need to shoot the head. On every street there are buildings that you can enter through doorways - these buildings are a link between different streets levels. To rescue the hostages they have "only" to touch. Some doors need keys that had yet to be found; to increase the total account you can collect bonuses (flying numbers, but...).

But that's not all. Ten minutes – it's very much for the true kings of hardcore (and for them and ONLY for them this game!), it is therefore quite natural that here, even included different mini-games, and allotted to them much more modest scale – only sixty seconds. For example, you need to have time to defuse the bomb, and, depending on the level may be as many as four different puzzles (of different complexity) that need to be addressed in order to do it (describe in detail this point should not let it be a surprise).

Special graphic miracles, of course, do not – although the port in 1990, then only four colors, but some drawing backgrounds here and there, and sometimes more than good; enemies, heroes and hostages also look decent, although somewhat ridiculous and comical for this game; look here on the side.

And now the most important thing. Until very recently almost no one was playing the DOS version of this game, but never even heard of its existence. But, nevertheless, it is – almost the only one of its kind hybrid the most severe (primarily for temporary restriction) combat platforming and less complex puzzle. Our website is the only place in the Internet, thanks to which you will be able to play in this miracle, without resorting to any of the emulators, but native DOSBox'and. Finding Joe Blade II for PC – a historic event, so the game gets a well-deserved eight points and most sincere recommendations to all fans and collectors of great arcade curiosities of yesteryear.
