Sarakon, a DOS game was released by the very talented group Starbyte Software in 1991. Little did they know that they will end up making history. Play this game again here.

Sarakon description

The variant of Mahjong game, but with a number of features. Common sense like this. On the screen there are rows of tiles, varying pattern and color. On the first level, for example, color tiles, two on the second – three. You need to "clear" the screen of tiles by clicking the tile of a particular color and pattern and then on the other is exactly the same tile. You can click on the tile and a different color with the same pattern, but then disappear only one tile, because each level has a "seniority of flowers": a tile of any color does not disappear upon contact, and flips, becoming "younger" colors (at subsequent levels are "older" tiles would be spinning not one or two times).

Please note that to move a tile to another only if it has no tiles on top and there's space on the right and/or left; in fact the rules of the game even more difficult (and sometimes even not quite clear why the tile is moved or not moved there). Each level is time limited, so planning a strategy of passing every need in advance and as soon as possible.

It's hardly the only game to play in which is most pleasant in Hercules mode, because it resembles an illustration from some old book (which creates a striking mood); although, of course, in other modes, the game also looks gorgeous. Overall – not too original, but a fascinating puzzle, which can be great to take the night off.
