The action takes place in a fantasy state of Lemuria, which after hundreds of years of peace is attacked by the black magicians of the sect "the Black Circle" from the country Lortai. Almost all the Royal army to die in battle with them, but the king Ozric manage to escape, and he sends the call to the greatest heroes of the Kingdom to help defeat the terrible enemies.
The main aim of the game is the control party of four heroes in their battles with the monsters and the cleansing of the lands of the Kingdom from them (and from commanding them mages), the RPG element in the game is minimal (features small and standard, the battles are simplified, although happen step by step).
There are two game modes – global map, which has the ability to make long jumps between locations, and "normal" when we watch the party of our heroes as if in a minimal isometry (this mode is valid while wandering through the cities, buildings, and battles), that is, the third person almost in full 3D (you can see the side please), but the camera is still a bit higher characters.
Most importantly, for what the game should be very, very much praise - it is truly magnificent for its time the graphics, which personally for me looks incredible to this day. Local interiors, three-dimensional characters, buildings, landscape – all this is the Supreme triumph of the technological power of the engine of WB, but, unfortunately, is rarely appreciated, because the game has gone almost unnoticed. The verdict: this game is not for fans of complex role-playing games, and for fans of old DOS ovskih of brodilok, where you don't need to think, just to explore the location of the world and fight with monsters. In my opinion, the perfect kind of vacation.
