Dos
5 /5

A very interesting DOS game was released by Pie in the Sky Software in the year 1995. The game was called Meltdown. You can now play it online.

Meltdown description

Virtually unknown FPS on the infamous engine Pie in the Sky. Is a purposely unfinished game: in fact, it's not even a game, technical demo created to demonstrate the capabilities of said engine.

Full story no - your character should run away from places that resemble conditional "detention centre" and filled with armed men of various stripes. In order to do this, you need to get to the lift, and before that - to find the key from him, protected by a force field, which, respectively, need to destroy. In the course of short-acting the hero will be able to acquire several types of weapons (grenades, machine gun, rifle), is also available kicks - which is not uncommon for games on this engine. To kill here, but the opponents are not particularly strong or clever and often even if you ignore the protagonist, yet they will not come close. At the bottom of the screen there is a display of equipment from first aid kits to weapons and items.

The architecture of the place in which to wander, is quite simple. Graphics - probably no better than other games on this engine: the harsh "not 2.5 D", pressing ceilings, blurry sprites of enemies. To treat this stuff seriously, it is impossible - especially because it was a very pretty game, but out of curiosity to see it.

Have you ever wondered what kind of video games were played in the good old days? Try playing Meltdown online now and we are sure you will not stop playing again.
