In the year 1989, California Dreams developed a Top-down perspective game by the name TrianGO. You can now play it online here.

TrianGO description

Formal game Japanese Board game of go, but in reality, the game of go, for this is only the basis.

The playing field is something like a "mesh" of triangular cells. Each player has stones which they put on the line for the vertices of these triangles; the goal is to capture the opponent's stones by surrounding them on three sides their stones. In the "capture" of the stones of the enemy from the field and they are removed and your stones that have implemented this "capture", but you will be able to use further in the game, and the enemy is not (or Vice versa if he took your stones). Wins the one who captures all the opponent's stones or makes the last move in the game.

The game is very challenging even against the AI, but originally, of course, designed to compete with other live players on one computer (you can play even four). Of course, the picture here could not be assessed, but it is necessary to note one very pleasant fact: the stones on each of the players different colors and hoarded the triangles are colored in the same color. To recommend this really requires a fair amount of brain effort thing can everyone who is interested and are generally "smart" computer entertainment.

Have you ever wondered what kind of video games were played in the good old days? Try playing TrianGO online now and we are sure you will not stop playing again.
