In the year 1982, Ensign Software developed a 1st-person perspective game by the name Treasure Hunt. You can now play it online here.

Treasure Hunt description

Another incredibly old game, which is a sort of a puzzle from a third (!) person (and this is in 1982).

The plot is extremely simple: you play as a treasure hunter, exploring the maze with the purpose of their search. Unlike almost all games on similar themes, and probably your expectations, in this game there are no enemies, hazards, traps, time limits, or something like that – through the maze in search of treasures you can wander indefinitely and feeling completely safe.

Another interesting point is that each time you start game it generates a new maze, so to replay with interest in it can be in fact an infinite number of times. In addition, there is even an auto-map of the maze, that is all done simply for the convenience of the player. With all this graphics for the year when there is simply fantastic in its beauty.

However, to give the Treasure Hunt a clear assessment difficult: Yes, in a sense, this, of course, classic, but still the game was too simplistic, so adult players will be unlikely (but for children will match perfectly).
