In the year 1992, Bethesda Softworks LLC developed a Bird's-eye view perspective game by the name Wayne Gretzky Hockey 3. You can now play it online here.
The third game in a series of hockey simulators, which gave its name to the legendary Wayne Gretzky.
I must say that it is in global terms is not particularly different from the two previous parts: just became bigger and better. The game in League mode has become much longer, the hockey – more features, added the voices of commentators, and the artificial intelligence of teams has increased, so to beat them now even more difficult. Formally, there are even different game modes – you can control all the players manually, you can "play under the coach", limited only by the common commands, and you can even put the steering and just enjoy watching the game.
Graphics is just a luxury – now all the action takes place in front of us in the VGA palette. You can also choose the perspective of the review above or in the isometric view where you can see the players close-up (and they are traced, I must say, the glory). So to all fans of hockey simulators in General and the eponymous series in particular to recommend this game can.
PS: This game can be integrated with Hockey League Simulator 2, which will add managerial simulator.
