The South American state Argentina never entered into number of large "game" powers, many players probably do not know of the existence of the phenomenon called "the Argentine game" and not call of any kind. However, such toys are still there - though they are very small and the domestic market, they leave even less than the Brazilian. Here's the space flying shooter called Dark Rage is remarkable, including the fact that in 2015, Pablo Test, its Creator posted the game online for all mankind so that everyone could see her completely free. These are in distant Argentina, kind and generous people.
No story in Dark Rage, apparently, no - we manage the space fighter with a decent stock of "health" flying across the screen from left to right (view, therefore, the side scrolling of the screen is present) and destroying small asteroids and different types of enemy ships. Features that following: first, in this game, it seems, is no such thing as bonuses - not found any "wspaniala health", nor weapons, nor acceleration, nor anything like it; secondly, at certain points the game becomes terribly difficult because of the abundance of hostile objects on the screen. Most often this happens when getting into a kind of "asteroid thread" - outer stones are destroyed with a single shot (ammunition, by the way, is infinite), but these stones so much that some almost certainly will damage our skin. Not so rare situations when against us at the same time serves six to eight ships of certain types, and some "individuals" can even give back to fight with us longer. Some ships are more "hardy" than others, but especially durable they aren't. However, their physical weakness they are compensated by the ability to shoot in different directions, not only "angle" (diagonal shooting is in many such games), but up or down in the vertical this feature distinguishes the Dark Rage from many other "smapo" and allows the player to feel safe for a second until the screen has at least one enemy. However, even without enemies - when we are in the asteroid flood - risk did not decrease.
The game is made in bright and high-quality SVGA-palette, without much diversity or backgrounds of colorful special effects (although those explosions and smoke trails of the missiles is a good thing), but very solidly most of all I want to praise the portrayal of a huge asteroid surreal shapes in the background. According to the developer, the levels are more than two dozen - but even the first pass is clearly not so simple. The main value of the game in modern conditions - without a doubt, it is a great rarity; however, each "hardcore" it is strongly recommended to read this suddenly newfound artifact, to once again feel the spirit of past decades - and at the same time to test their fingers.
